Место, которое занял спортсмен, номер заплыва и дорожки, по которой он плыл. Есть личная информация о пловце: фамилия, имя, спортивный разряд (актуально только для РФ), спортивная организация (город, либо страна) за которую выступает. Так же из итогового протокола можно узнать раскладку дистанции по временным отрезкам, а так же прогресс спортсмена по сравнению с его заявленным временем. И наконец-то мы подобрались к столбцу, который называется FINA Points (Очки Фина). Давайте разберемся в этих магических цифрах и узнаем, зачем их ввели и как используют очки фина на практике.
Очки фина сведены в специальные таблицы. Таблицы очков фина отдельно рассчитываются для короткой (25 метров) и длинной (50 метров) воды. Так же таблицы просчитаны отдельно по каждому виду программы и разделены по гендерному признаку (Мужчины, Женщины).
Как рассчитываются данные в таблицах Fina? Ответ очень прост международная федерация плавания (Fina), разработала специальную формулу для преобразования времени показанного на дистанции в очки.

B — базовое время.

С переменной Т проблем нет, мы и так знаем за сколько пловец преодолел дистанцию. А вот как узнать В? Базовое время определяется каждый год на основе последних мировых рекордов, утвержденных FINA. Для бассейнов 25 метров (SCM) базовое время определяется до 31 августа. Для бассейнов 50 метров (LCM) базовое время определяется в конце года (31 декабря).

Зачем же нам нужны очки Fina? Ответить на этот вопрос, позволит другой вопрос, как это не странно прозвучит! Как сравнить пловца плывущего брассом с пловцом который плывет дельфином, да еще и на разных дистанциях первый 200 метров, а второй 100 метров? Да просто применим таблицу очков фина и узнаем ответ, кто выше в рейтинге. С таблицей очков фина стало возможным считать командный зачет, выявлять лучших спортсменов соревнований, а так же строить рейтинги спортсменов.
